GOODYEAR, Ariz. - This past winter was not the first time that Billy Hamilton ever has heard his named included in trade speculation. But it certainly was the most often he’s heard it. The Cincinnati Reds center fielder was the subject of serious discussions between the Reds and San Francisco Giants at the Winter Meetings.
Those talks have since died down, and Hamilton is pretty likely to remain with the team, at least to start the season.
