If you’re like me, you’re checking various media outlets, keeping tabs on your Twitter feed, and constantly waiting for that alert on your phone that reads, “The Cincinnati Reds finally got the pitching.” Well, to this point during the 2018 Winter Meetings, the Reds have made little to no noise.
Okay, the Reds did pick up a left-handed pitcher off waivers from the Boston Red Sox yesterday. Robby Scott, who played college ball for the Florida State Seminoles, was snagged off waivers and is now part of the Reds 40-man roster. He’ll likely compete for a spot in the bullpen with the likes of Cody Reed, Brandon Finnegan, and Matt Wisler.
