Reds manager Jim Riggleman doesn't like September baseball. His beef isn't with the fall air and shorter days.

It's expanded rosters. Beginning in September, Major League Baseball rosters go from 25 to anyone on the 40-man roster. No team calls up everyone on the 40-man, but contending teams tend to add more than teams out of the race.
