Trailing by four runs in the top of the 12th inning Tuesday, Reds interim manager Jim Riggleman attempted to signal an intentional walk from the dugout.
Holding up four fingers, he apparently failed to catch the attention of home-plate umpire Eric Cooper. Reds first-base coach Freddie Benavides also held up four fingers.
Riggleman and Cooper exchanged words before Riggleman stormed out of the dugout and was ejected when he went face-to-face with Cooper.
