GOODYEAR, Ariz. – There's a lot that goes into deciding a starting pitching rotation. It's an annual endeavor that becomes a little more clear with each curtailed spring start.
Cincinnati Reds manager Bryan Price is in the midst of that process right now.
Statistics are a metric, but only one piece of the puzzle, Price told reporters Wednesday morning.
"It's a combination," he said. "First of all, and the reason I kind of rank these guys somewhat, or handicap them, was that we can't discount performance from last season.
