The Reds’ magic against the Los Angeles Dodgers ended with a thud Wednesday.

The Dodgers beat up on Reds pitching in an 8-1 loss before a crowd of 15,633 at Great American Ball Park. The Reds had won the previous six meeting with the Dodgers this year.

Right-hander Anthony DeSclafani went 4 u2154 innings and allowed six runs (five earned) on five hits. He walked three and struck out five. He’s failed to get through the fifth inning in each of last three starts.
