The Cincinnati Reds’ struggles against the St. Louis Cardinals continued on Saturday.

Homer Bailey struggled in his return from the disabled list, giving up five runs on nine hits with three walks and no strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.

Matt Carpenter led the way for the Cardinals’ offense, going 2-for-5 with a double (already his seventh of the season) and two runs batted in. Yadier Molina went 2-for-4 with a double and and RBI.
