Joey Votto talks about the firing of Bryan Price. The Enquirer/John Fay
ST. LOUIS – Jim Riggleman was back in the big league manager's chair, a place he knew he might never get back to when he walked off the job 75 games into the 2011 season.
Riggleman, 65, loves nothing more than to manage baseball. That shows how convicted he was about his decision with the Washington Nationals. But, while he is glad to be back, it pains him that it is at the expense of Bryan Price.
“In a perfect world to this point, I would not have gotten another chance," Riggleman said.
