New York Post columnist Joel Sherman proposed a trade idea this past week that involved Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart. While many fans throughout Reds Country perish the thought of Barnhart being traded, it’s a very real possibility, especially if Cincinnati lands free agent catcher Yasmani Grandal this offseason.
Barnhart has been a dependable backstop for the Cincinnati Reds over the past six seasons. Tucker won a Gold Glove back in 2017, and after a down-year defensively in 2018, Barnhart rebounded and became one of the better defensive catchers in the game once again last season.
