ST. LOUIS – The Cincinnati Reds will have a little bit earlier of a start on their All-Star break plans.
The Reds' series finale against the St. Louis Cardinals was postponed because of rain. The game will be made up on Sept. 17 at 12:15 p.m. as part of a split doubleheader.
Due to the timing of the Reds' next trip to St. Louis, they will have two doubleheaders within a five-day stretch. They're scheduled to play a doubleheader vs. Pittsburgh on Sept. 13 at Great American Ball Park.
Heading into the All-Star break, the Reds have a 34-57 record.
