Cincinnati Reds' Eugenio Suárez proud to join 30-home run club with Venezuelan countrymen

ST. LOUIS, Missouri – Baseball is so numbers-filled now that it's easy to get lost in them. WAR, FIP, WHIP, OBP and on and on.

But some of the old-school numbers still resonate. If you’re a 30-100 guy, you’re a slugger.

Reds third baseman Eugenio Suárez has achieved the 30-home run part of the equation. He went into Friday’s game with 95 RBI, so it’s just a matter of time before he joins the 30-100 echelon.
