Cincinnati Reds enjoy playing with emotion: 'Some bat flippin', show boatin', sons of guns'

There was Nick Castellanos flipping his bat, turning toward his teammates in the dugout and shouting, “Let’s go!” as he began his home run trot.

There was José De León pumped his fist, let out a yell and ran off the mound after an inning-ending strikeout to strand two runners on base.

Amir Garrett “rocked the cradle” to celebrate his first save of the season.

Just another Monday for the Cincinnati Reds, who love showing their emotions with fiery play as they try to hype up their teammates.

“I want everybody to think that the Cincinnati Reds are, like, the cockiest team ever,” Garrett said.
