Cincinnati Reds drop 3rd straight spring training game in 6-2 loss to San Diego Padres

PEORIA, Ariz. – San Diego Padres designated hitter Francisco Mejia crushed a grand slam in the seventh inning against Reds pitcher Jesús Reyes, handing the Reds a 6-2 loss at the Peoria Sports Complex.

It was the Reds’ third consecutive loss, dropping their record to 4-9-2. Kyle Farmer hit an RBI triple in the second inning and Nick Senzel added a sacrifice fly in the fourth.
