GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Moving closer to finalizing the 25-man roster for the start of the upcoming season, the Cincinnati Reds reassigned nine players from Major League camp Friday, including center fielder Nick Senzel.
Along with Senzel, the Reds reassigned pitchers Sal Romano, Cody Reed, Lucas Sims and Ian Krol, outfielder Phillip Ervin, utility player Kyle Farmer, catcher Juan Graterol and shortstop Blake Trahan. The Reds have 30 players remaining in camp, but infielder Alex Blandino and left-handed pitcher Alex Wood are expected to begin the season on the 10-day injured list.
