Cincinnati Reds cut 11 players in their first round of roster cuts

GOODYEAR, Arizona – After completing their third split-squad set of games in the last four days, the Cincinnati Reds announced their first round of roster cuts from big-league camp on Tuesday.

The Reds sent 11 players to minor league camp: pitchers Tejay Antone, David Carpenter, Ryan Hendrix, Nick Lodolo, Tony Santillan and Josh Smith, catcher Chris Okey, infielders Jonathan India and Blake Trahan, and outfielders Stuart Fairchild and Boog Powell.
