SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA – Representing the Reds at the Arizona Fall League’s Fall Stars game earlier this month, catcher Tyler Stephenson blasted a 93-mph fastball over the center-field wall in one of his two at-bats.
The homer carried well beyond the fence that stood 410 from home plate and provided one of the main highlights in a showcase for top prospects. For Stephenson, it was another chance to prove himself.
Stephenson impressed in the Fall League with a .347 batting average, seven doubles, nine runs and six RBI in 13 games.
