LOS ANGELES — You know what 5 2/3 and two, six and one and five and one adds up to?
A three-game winning streak for the Reds.
The young starters have put together three solid outings. Tyler Mahle (3-4) went five innings and allowed an unearned run Thursday night in a 4-1 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers before a crowd of 47,383 at Dodger Stadium.
Mahle's start followed games in which Luis Castillo allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings, and Sal Romano allowed one run over six innings.
The sound starts led to the Reds' first three-game winning streak of the year.
