The mystery that is the Reds' offensive continues.
The Reds failed to score until the ninth inning in a 5-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals Sunday before a crowd of 45,701 on a cool, crisp afternoon at Busch Stadium.
Scott Schebler snapped an 0-for-19 streak with a two-run double with two outs in the ninth. Before that, the Reds failed to score in 11 straight innings.
"The story was we couldn't string anything together on offense," Reds manager David Bell said. "We had base-runners we just weren't able to string anything together to get any runs.
