MILWAUKEE — These are big games between the Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers, heading into the All-Star break — and then again three more times immediately coming out of the break.
“It’s huge,” Reds outfielder Jake Fraley said leading up to Friday’s series opener in Milwaukee.
Big games.
Huge.
Decisive.
Life-altering.
OK, maybe not quite life-altering. At least the Reds better hope not after getting throttled most of Friday night like few other games over the past month-plus in a 7-3 loss to the Brewers that cut the Reds’ NL Central Division lead over the second-place Brewers to one game with two to play before the break.
