Cincinnati Reds: Alfredo Simon out of rotation, Daniel Wright in

After 11 mostly dreadful starts, Alfredo Simon is no longer a starter. According to MLB.com’s Kevin Goheen, the replacement will be Daniel Wright, who has appeared in three games with the Reds, including one start.

Simon has been among the worst pitchers in baseball, putting up a 9.11 ERA in 52 1/3 innings, the worst mark of any pitcher with more than 50 innings. For reference, the next highest ERA after Simon’s is 6.79.
