MILWAUKEE – After throwing a pair of live batting practice sessions and two bullpen sessions, Reds left-hander Alex Wood is expected to make his first rehab start Thursday at Triple-A Louisville.
Wood threw 42 pitches in a live BP session at Miller Park on Saturday against hitters Kyle Farmer and Phillip Ervin. He drew six swings and misses and eight foul balls. Ervin hit one pitch near the base of the right-field wall.
