The Cincinnati Reds have made a few roster moves today. The big one is that they have activated infielder Mike Moustakas from the injured list. Moustakas was on the 60-day injured list and thus was not on the 40-man roster at the time. Being activated meant that he needed a spot on both the 40-man roster AND the 26-man roster. That required two roster moves to be made. Reliever Michael Feliz was transferred to the 60-day injured list and that created the spot on the 40-man. Utility player Mike Freeman was then optioned to Triple-A Louisville to create a roster spot on the 26-man roster.
