After a three-day paternity leave, the Cincinnati Reds activated closer Raisel Iglesias Sunday and optioned right-hander Jackson Stephens to AAA Louisville.

Iglesias, a 28-year-old right-hander who received the Johnny Vander Meer Award last season as the Reds' most outstanding pitcher, is coming off a season in which he led all of Major League Baseball with eight saves of at least two innings.

Reds manager Bryan Price was asked Sunday whether he'll continue to use Iglesias in that many two-inning save situations this season.
