Although the All-Star game in Great American Ball Park is still several days away, we’re already slightly over halfway through the 2015 season. Needless to say, things haven’t gone as hoped for the Cincinnati Reds through 82 games. In part due to injuries and inconsistency, the team sits at 38-44, 15.5 games out of first place in the National League Central and seven games out of a Wild Card spot.
That being said, the season hasn’t been a complete wash. The Reds have gotten great performances from a number of different players, some of whom weren’t even expected to contribute until well into the future.
