Ever watched a player collect six hits in one game? How about hitting for the cycle? How about both?
Baseball fans who stayed all 10 innings of Wednesday night's remarkable back-and-forth showdown between the Cincinnati Reds and the Milwaukee Brewers at Great American Ball Park were rewarded when Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich tripled to complete the cycle and then again when he collected his sixth hit of the game, even if it was tough for the Reds fans to watch Milwaukee outlast the home team, 13-12.
Yelich became just the fourth player in the live-ball era - that is, since 1920 - to record six hits in a game AND hit for the cycle.
