After getting knocked around for 5 ER in just 3.1 IP in his first pair of Cactus League apperances, Cody Reed has settled in rather nicely since the calendar turned to March. The Cincinnati Reds lefty has allowed 6 hits and a lone walk in 5.0 IP over his last 3 outings, with 4 Ks and nary a run allowed. He’s fresh off the most dominant outing of his camp, too, having fanned 3 in 2.0 innings against the Los Angeles Angels on March 12, an appearance that saw him pound the zone and hit his spots about as well as we’ve seen from him in his career with the Reds.
