Bullpen has cost Cincinnati Reds at least three wins; Dick Williams is sticking with group

You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows, and you don’t need statistics to tell you that the Cincinnati Reds' bullpen has been awful this season.

But we’ll give you the numbers anyway: Reds relievers are a collective 1-4 with a 5.84 ERA. They've blown three of four save chances. And they’ve allowed 10 home runs over just 37 innings. By comparison, the Reds' starting pitchers are a collective 4-3 with a 2.35 ERA. And they’ve allowed three home runs over 65 innings.

The Reds went into Thursday ranked 25th in reliever ERA and 29th in home run rate.
