The Cincinnati Reds welcome the Atlanta Braves to town this evening for the first game of a quick three-game series, one that will be followed by a visit from the Pittsburgh Pirates over the weekend. Together, those mark the final six games that will played in Great American Ball Park this year since, y’know, the Reds aren’t going to make the playoffs (again).
On the mound for tonight’s 6:40 PM ET start will be Brandon Williamson, who’s making a pretty decent case that he should be part of the team’s Opening Day starting rotation next year. He’s allowed just 3 ER in 13.
