Bob Bailey, who played parts of two seasons with the Cincinnati Reds and won a World Series championship with the team in 1976 during his 17-season Major League Baseball career, died Tuesday at the age of 75.
Bailey hit .281 with eight homers and 34 RBIs in 118 games for the Reds between 1976 and 1977.

Bailey made his big-league debut at age 19 with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1962. He played five seasons for the Pirates before they traded him with Gene Michael to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Maury Wills.
