It’s a subject that comes up often, but Jesse Winker doesn’t enjoy talking about it.
Winker missed the final 2 ½ months of the 2018 season after he underwent surgery to repair his right shoulder, his non-throwing shoulder. During the 2019 season, he was sidelined throughout September because of a neck strain.
Training in Cincinnati this offseason, Winker wants to turn the chapter from his injuries. He hopes they stay in the past as he focuses on the upcoming year.
“I just had something going on with my neck and spine area, but everything has progressed,” he said.
