All winning streaks must come to an end: Reds lose, 6-5.

The Joe Nuxhall Memorial Honorary Star of the Game

The offense hasn’t really been an issue for the 2017 Reds, and that theme held true tonight against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Reds strung together 13 hits and 5 runs, but it wasn’t enough to overcome an early implosion by another starting pitcher. 3 of those hits came by the way of Tucker Barnhart, who finished the evening by going 3 for 4 with a double, a triple, and 1 RBI.

Honorable mentions are due to: Eugenio Suarez, for going 2 for 5 with 1 RBI; Adam Duvall, who was 2 for 5 and scored 2 runs; Jose Peraza, who was 2 for 4 and drove in a run; and Lisalverto Bonilla, Tony Cingrani, and Ariel Hernandez, for combining to throw 4.
