Doug Gray has all the details, but twenty Reds minor leaguers elected to file for minor league free agency today. Among them were a few guys who have gotten some time in the big leagues with the Reds, such as Kyle Waldrop and Donald Lutz.
To be eligible for minor league free agency, a player has to have six years of experience and not be on the 40-man roster.
Also among the new free agents are Yorman Rodriguez and Juan Duran, two guys who signed at age 12 (or something like that) and who I have never been high on.
