Reds manager Bryan Price "could not feel any better" about recent streak

In today's Reds news update, the Cincinnati Reds felt the lowest of the lows on Thursday, after being shut out while sending just 27 batters to the plate. That was their fifth loss in six games, dropping them to a season-low six games under .500.

What a difference a weekend can make. Sunday's 4-3 victory over the Diamondbacks at Chase Field marks their third straight win and fourth in five games, turning what looked to be a tough road swing into a service 4-3 trip.

"I could not feel any better," Price said about the team's first three-game win streak since April 22-24, via John Fay of Cincinnati.com.

"You fight to win series and get on a roll," Price stated. "That's four of five. That's a step in right direction. . . It was feel a good-feel win for sure."

The Cincinnati Reds look to carry over those good feelings on Tuesday, as they begin a three-game set with baseball's best team through the first two months of the season, the San Francisco Giants.
