The Cincinnati Reds still have Jason Marquis penciled in for Monday's series opener against the Colorado Rockies at home. The key word there is "penciled."
Reds manager Bryan Price gave the impression that Marquis' last start could lead to a change in the rotation. He didn't dispel that interpretation when speaking with reporters on Friday.
"I'd probably hold off on answering that question," Price said, via the Cincinnati Enquirer. "We have to look at a lot of different things when making a decision. We're dealing with a veteran player."

Marquis has allowed 15 runs in 12 1/3 innings over his past three starts. Rookie right-hander Raisel Iglesias could very well be the man to replace Marquis if Price decides to go that route.
"We haven't made any commitments with where we're going from here on out. It would certainly take some involvement with (general manager Walt Jocketty) and (pitching coach Jeff Pico) and myself. We're trying to figure out what our best rotation is, especially now that we have both Iglesias and Lorenzen up here with us."
