The Cincinnati Reds are reportedly surveying their options both in free agency and on the trade market when it comes to finding help in the outfield. However, it doesn't appear that they're looking to facilitate a reunion with Jonny Gomes in order to find said help.
According to Chris Cotillo of SB Nation, the Reds are likely to look elsewhere to address their current needs:
Have heard #Reds are not pursuing Jonny Gomes as they look for outfield help.

Gomes was a member of the Cincinnati Reds from 2009 to when they traded him to the Washington Nationals in the middle of the 2011 season. The veteran posted a .234/.327/.330 slash in 321 plate appearances as a pure platoon bat for both the Boston Red Sox and Oakland Athletics in 2014.
With Gomes entering his age-34 season with a notable drop in his power numbers over the past few years, he'll likely have to look somewhere other than Cincinnati for employment this coming year.
