As the Cincinnati Bengals prepare for their preseason opener, the defensive line has been hit hard throughout training camp.
Cam Sample is out for the season with a torn Achilles, while Sam Hubbard, McKinnley Jackson, Domenique Davis, and Jay Tufele have all missed time with various injuries.
On Thursday, head coach Zac Taylor announced that Jackson and Davis are week-to-week, so don’t expect to see them this week vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and they probably won’t go next week vs. the Chicago Bears either.
The good news is Taylor said Tufele may return next week, so that will be a nice boost to the defensive tackle group.
