Wright Cleared For Practice: Another WR In The Running

James Wright was a 7th round draft pick for the Bengals out of LSU back in 2014. On November 30, 2014, in what was unquestionably the best game of his career, Wright came down wrong on a 30-yard pass reception and ended up with a torn PCL that would end his season and possibly his career.

Wright underwent microfracture surgery last year in hopes of salvaging his NFL career, but with a 6+ month recovery time, Wright was out for the rest of the 2014 season and the entire 2015 season. It left Wright with a few uncertainties, like would he be able to have the long-term structural integrity to continue his career, would there be any setbacks, making him miss training camp and preseason for the second year in a row?
