In the Cincinnati Bengals last game of the 2019 season, it was harder than ever to get running back Joe Mixon down. On one of his first rushes of the game, Mixon juked around two Cleveland Browns defenders and hopped over another en route to a 41-yard run.
On his last rush of the game, Mixon put down his shoulder and flattened Cleveland defender Sheldrick Redwine to clinch the win over the Browns. Nothing was on the line, but Mixon finished 2019 with his best performance of the year, a 162-yard game with two touchdowns.
Mixon was important then, but he might be even more important to the Bengals in 2020.
