The last six months have been a whirlwind for Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle B.J. Hill.
When Hill reported for training camp ahead of the 2021 season in East Rutherford, N.J., he was a member of the New York Giants. On Aug. 30, 2021, Hill was traded to the Bengals. On Sept. 12, 2021, the Bengals opened their season against the Minnesota Vikings. It all happened fast.
Hill said it took about four to six weeks before he felt comfortable with the Bengals’ playbook and five months later, he made one of the most important plays in Cincinnati’s AFC Championship win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
