The Cincinnati Bengals needed a victory over the New York Giants to really keep their season alive, and now, moving to 2-4, it definitely still is.
Obviously, they still have an uphill battle to make the playoffs, but all they can do is play one week at a time and hope they get on one of their runs that have been so common in the Burrow era.
Against the Giants, who were admittedly without their best offensive player, the Bengals defense played extremely well, holding them to only seven points. If you told any Bengals fan that the Giants only scored seven points then they would’ve said that the Bengals must’ve crushed them, which unfortunately wasn’t the case.
