The Cincinnati Bengals knew they needed someone to pick up the slack if anything were to happen to star back Joe Mixon. Even with Mixon still young and healthy, they opted to draft two running backs with their numerous sixth-round picks.
That said, there’s only a certain amount of snaps in a football game and both won’t be making an immediate impact. However, for Trayveon Williams, his play and size mimics that of specialty back Giovani Bernard.
While Williams may be the third-or-fourth string back, he’s planning to make a “Day 1 impact,” per WCPO.
