Heading into the NFL Draft, former Cincinnati Bengals star offensive lineman Willie Anderson told Jackson Carman to be patient and to be grateful for whatever happened.
But Carman didn’t have to wait long into the second round to be selected, and the Fairfield High School graduate said he was thrilled to be staying in his hometown of Cincinnati.
"I could not picture a better scenario,” Carman said. “This is crazy thinking about the journey and where the game of football has taken me in my life."
Carman was a two-year starter at left tackle at Clemson, and he played against Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and LSU in the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
