The Cincinnati Bengals’ 2019 season in totality was unequivocally a disappointment. Even after Sunday’s victory, this year’s Bengals equaled the 2002 club for the worst record in franchise history. But for the optimists, concluding the season with a victory should serve as a psychological boost as the Bengals embark on a critical offseason.
“It’s big,” Bengals coach Zac Taylor said. “Even though we know that it’s unacceptable to go 2-14 in an NFL season, it’s big. We are all very clear on that. But all we can control is what’s right in front of us.
