ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Usually in the hours just before a game, Michael Johnson gets motivating pep talks from his parents to let him know he and his teammates will have full control of their upcoming opponent.
But as the Cincinnati Bengals' potentially historic run to start this season continues, even Mr. and Mrs. Johnson can't help but let a dose of reality slip into their pregame conversations with their son. Ahead of Sunday's game at Buffalo, Johnson's mom and dad caught the defensive end off guard with the brutal honesty he and the rest of the Bengals are going to have to get used to.
