Though the flurry of contracts the Bengals doled out in the first week of free agency have since slowed, but that doesn’t mean the team is dormant. They have been making the national rounds to Pro Days, as they prepare for the draft, but they also apparently have one eye still on free agents lingering on the periphery.
Meanwhile, one of the critical questions surrounding the club this spring is the amount of talent they currently have on the roster after both recent attrition and acquisitions. While linebacker and defensive tackle seem to be the mock draft choices du jour, safety and running back are also positions that the team seems to be keeping tabs on at the moment.
