That's because the Eagles gift-wrapped the Cincinnati Bengals an early holiday present Sunday evening with their unexpected 35-28 road win against the New England Patriots.
Thanks to that victory, the Bengals are the AFC's new No. 1 seed and very much in control. Win out the remainder of the regular season, and they could retain this top seeding.
