The Baltimore Ravens lost a gut-wrenching game against the Denver Broncos to open their season, but they suffered an even bigger loss after Terrell Suggs was lost due to injury for the year.
Following Baltimore's 19-13 loss at Denver, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced that Suggs had been diagnosed with a torn Achilles Tendon, which will end his 2015 season after just one week. Suggs suffered the injury in the fourth quarter during a Broncos drive that spanned 17 plays, 81 yards and ate nearly 10 minutes off the clock.
Though Baltimore got the ball back one last time, Joe Flacco would be picked off in the end zone after the Ravens drove down into the red zone with under a minute to play.
