The Cincinnati Bengals may hold the rights to Tee Higgins, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be joining the team anytime soon.
After placing the franchise tag on Higgins this offseason, he eventually requested a trade, though he seemingly came to the conclusion that he’ll be playing for the Bengals in 2024.
However, it looks like Higgins and his agent are going to wait a bit until he reports to the team.
Per Adam Schefter, Higgins is not planning to sign his franchise tag tender in time to report for next week’s OTAs.
