Ted Karras, a two-time Super Bowl champion, knows a thing or two about winning.
Now 31, he also knows a thing or two about longevity, having played 10 or more games in the last eight seasons.
Playing a physically taxing position like center, Karras appreciates the consistent off day. With training camp having kicked off, he spoke about the team’s schedule and how it keeps him both performing at a high level and rested.
In doing so, Karras heaped praise on head coach Zac Taylor for his role in it all.
“Zac is the ultimate scheduler, ultimate player friendly, but the guy has found a way to balance that with high performance winning football, and I appreciate that because I’m the oldest guy on the team,” Karras said via Bengals.
