Bengals linebacker Brian Simmons, who used to compare the Paul Brown Stadium grass "to going to Wal-Mart to buy tires for a Lamborghini," smiles when he hears what just rolled into the garage. "I would say we've got the tires to match," says Simmons of today’s announcement that the Bengals are replacing grass with turf. "I love this stuff. It's better than grass." The Bengals opt for the industry leader in synthetic grass when they tap FieldTurf, which has surfaces in five other NFL stadiums and an estimated 25 major colleges that include the hometown University of Cincinnati and Miami University.
